This process can transform perspectives, assumptions, cultures, relationships, how business is done and its structures, and how issues are understood and addressed - even the everyday issues of daily life. Some people have said it changed their entire perspective on life, how they live it, and how they regard and treat others.

The power of TIP comes from its design, which uses (embeds) core processes of healthy change and development to foster more healthy change and development.

It equips users to methodically address the nested layers of issues. It zooms in on the multiple factors that make issues be issues, to address them systemically. It rectifies a range of shortcomings in existing practice that account for the most frequent and significant reasons that most complex issues are never understood or addressed effectively to effect enduring, systemic change and integral decisions.

TIP results from a seamless paradigmatic integration of many years of both theoretical and on-the-ground action research into human and social development, the nature of complexity in issues, and the processes that do and do not work for them. In addition to its practical usefulness, it is also a transformative and educational experience.

Complex issues need a whole different kind of approach—one that understands what makes them complicated to begin with.
